How long do we have to leave the ground to settle before we erect a memorial headstone?
6 Months if the headstone is going directly onto a burial grave. NOTE: If there is a concrete Plinth (looks like a pathway) at the back of the grave, the headstone can be fitted immediately after a burial. In case of cremated remains a memorial can be erected immediately after the burial of ashes.
How can i order my memorial?
Visit our showroom and a friendly, helpful member of staff will be happy to help and take your order, otherwise orders can be taken over the phone or via email.
How do I Pay for my memorial
We ask for quarter deposit of total cost and then final payment when the memorial has been erected in Cemetery/Church.
Will i get to see a proof of my memorial before its erected in Cemetery or Church?
Yes you do. We have all the latest computer aided software and send you a proof of inscription/layout a couple of weeks before your memorial is ready to be engraved and erected in the cemetery. You can then confirm all is correct or of any errors/changes.
How long will it take from ordering my memorial headstone to erection of the memorial?
Your memorial is in Stock within 8 to 10 weeks. If your memorial is a special order and has to be specially made up to 12 to 14 weeks.
Are there any extra costs to be added to your web site/ brochure list prices?
Yes, the Cemetery/ Church where your memorial is to be fitted may make a charge. This is added to the total cost of your memorial. Cemetery Fees are not included in our list prices because they vary from place to place. Please call or email to confirm Cemetery/Church fee for your area.We have all these fees at hand.
I have seen a memorial and its not in mansfield memorials brochure can you supply me?
Yes we Can, Any memorial you see that is not in the brochure we can supply, and get back to you with a price. We can even produce a memorial
that you design yourself.
I am worried that my headstone may be vandalised and i wont be able to afford to replace it? What can i do?
We offer a product called StoneGuard, you can Protect your memorial from vandalism from as little as £28 for 5 years. If during this time your memorial is damaged and the damaged can be repaired, we would repair it. if the memorial was a write off and could not be repaired we would erect a new replacement memorial headstone. There is no excess to pay.
